The servant of God Magin Morera Feixas was bom at Castelltallat (Barcelona, Spain), November 16, 1908. The last of twelve children he lost his father when he was 17 months old. His mother educated him in the Christian faith and nourished his religious and priestly vocation. Called by God to become a Son of the Holy Family, he made his religious vows at Barcelona, September 15, 1925. He was ordained a priest November 1, 1933.
Surviving the dangers of the religious persecution in Spain and World War II in Italy, with courage and deep faith, he worked zealously in both countries, and later in Brazil, in the pastoral care of several parishes, always presenting the life of the Family of Nazareth as a model to follow. He became Superior General of the Congregation and a true teacher of spiritual life. He encouraged the building of a Temple in honor of the Holy Family in Rome and worked tirelessly to help families and young people. He died in Barcelona, June 28, 1984, after a life of virtue and good deeds. The process for his canonization was begun in this archdiocese in 2003
